Dear Jumping Gymnast,

Yesterday was Monday, January 27 (the birthday, I believe of your cousin). It was ZERO degrees in Chicago and your mother woke up complaining of some pain and other details we won't get into. A few hours later we were in "Triage" at Northwestern Hospital.
Now, I must say that your mother was far more concerned than she appears in the photo.  (She just didn't want me taking a picture of her... which neither would I, if I was dressed in a hospital gown.) But by this time, they had taken various samples and started running tests. (One of which was supposed to reveal "snowflakes" when it was done.)

The most fun we had in this room as we waited for test results was listening to you! (And we were even happier to hear that you are still fine and healthy and kicking away inside your mom.)
